NAPLearn Privacy Policy

Introduction
We understand that privacy is important to you and we are committed to protecting your personal information.
NAPLearn is a product of Rembiont Pty Ltd. This privacy statement describes the personal information that
Rembiont collects and how we use it to provide our products and services including NAPLearn. Rembiont complies
with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
We collect personal information from you when you register and/or renew a NAPLearn subscription. We collect only
the minimal amount and types of information necessary to provide you with our services. We DO NOT sell your personal
information to third-parties. We hold your personal information in Australia and do not disclose it to overseas recipients.
During subscription registration we collect your email address and full name. We use this information to generate
and send you invoices. We also use these details to administer your subscription, provide support, and to contact you as
necessary to deliver information related to NAPLearn service status and NAPLearn product changes and enhancements.
We DO NOT process, touch or store your credit card details. Your credit card details are entered and processed via a secure form hosted by
our payment gateway provider PayPal and as required our service is PCI compliant.
We collect essay text entered via NAPLearn when students practise their essay writing. This text is stored in order to provide
students and parents with grading history, and to allow diagnosis of any issues that may arise with our essay analysis algorithms.
We may from time to time analyse the contents of these essays to extract insights and/or statistics and to improve
our analysis algorithms. We may share these insights and statistics with third-parties. We will not share the original
essay text with third-parties.
While using our system, our internet server logs the type of brower and operating system you are using, your computer's
IP address and the address of the referring website. This data is used for statistical and troubleshooting purposes only.
You can view and correct your personal information via the NAPLearn Account Profile page. For any personal information not on your
account profile, you can request information or correction via the NAPLearn Contact Us page.
Security
We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help prevent unauthorized access to your personal information.
Our site is protected by industry standard Secured Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This protects your data from
being intercepted between your web browser and our servers. Our servers are physically located in Australia in a secure ISO 27001
certified datacentre. Our servers are protected by security software including firewalls and anti-malware scanners. Our servers log unauthorised
access attempts and these logs are monitored to identify any security threats.
Access to your personal information is restricted to our employees and contractors who have a business need consistent with the reason
the information was provided in order to provide our services or administer our business. This access is controlled by username and password
authentication.
Children's Privacy
The NAPLearn site does not request or store personally identifying information for children. At time of registration
we request the parent or guardian to enter a user name for their child, please ensure that this is a pseudonym and does
not contain information that would identify your child.
Cookies
Cookies are small data files placed on your device to record information. We use cookies to keep track of your authentication
status allowing you to stay logged in during your visit. We also use cookies to store site preferences between page views and
site visits. NAPLearn does not use third-party cookies and we do not share information from your cookies with third-parties.
Note that the NAPLearn home page has a Youtube video embedded within an iframe. Youtube uses various cookies within this iframe
which may potentially include third-party cookies.
